Report at the airport Von Kathmandu’s representative will pick you up from your residence and drop you off at the airport where you will meet the airlines’ liaison. You will then be handed your boarding passes and taken to the counter. After the formal procedure of weight measurement, issuing permits, and security clearance, you will either be driven to the hangar or asked to wait for some time depending on the weather. |

Kathmandu - Lukla - EBC - Kalapathhar - Syangboche Note: If there are more than 3 passengers, the heli will make two shuttles (carrying 2-3 people each time) from Pheriche (4,200m / 13,780ft) Once we get a heads-up from the air traffic controller, we take off from Kathmandu. At Lukla, we stop for a short while to defuel before making our way to Everest Base Camp. We fly over EBC and land at Kalapathhar. The ground time is 5-15 mins. Our next stop is Mountain lodges of Nepal, Kongde and we will get dropped off at the helipad. |

Breakfast at Kongde We land at a luxury chain lodge nestled atop the hills of Kongde for a special breakfast. Enjoy a lavish spread with sweeping views of the Khumbu mountains, including Mount Everest and Namche Bazaar. Celebratory champagne is available at an additional cost for special occasions. Kindly inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions. |

The highest altitude we’ll get to during our journey is around 5,400m/17,720ft at Kalapathhar. It’s a quick stop, only 5-10 minutes for taking photos and soaking the view in. We will also stop for breakfast at Hotel Everest View (3880m /12,730ft) for up to an hour.
One might feel the altitude a little but you will not need a Diamox or any other medication for altitude sickness. The craft is also equipped with an oxygen cylinder and first aid kit. In case of emergency, you will be flown down to the lower elevation so you are in safe hands.

A few days before the trip, the lead guide will host a small briefing to discuss logistics and safety matters, and also answer any questions you have.
